Chapter 377 - 376: Sorry, I Won’t Do It Again

"I’m even more tired." Bella Acker pouted, blushing, but still cooperatively started rinsing her mouth.

Damian Sinclair said, "I didn’t sleep three hours combined in the last two days."

Bella was taken aback, "Why didn’t you sleep? What were you doing?"

"The foreign branch had issues with finance and product. Even though I didn’t go there, there’s still a lot to handle." Damian brushed her messy hair behind her ear, and said, "And there’s a lot going on here too. My father’s health hasn’t been great recently, so besides Kingston’s matters, I also have to help back at the Sinclair Group."

"So busy, huh." Hearing him say this, Bella only then noticed the concealed exhaustion between his brows.

If he weren’t thoroughly relaxed now, and trying to comfort her, he probably wouldn’t have mentioned these things at all.

Bella looked at him, feeling a bit distressed.

Once Bella finished rinsing, Damian placed the cup aside, and said, "It’s not too bad, we have cousins helping at home too, it’s just that some decisions need to be made by me."

After all, Damian Sinclair is the only heir to the Sinclair Group. Even though the Sinclair brothers have a harmonious and friendly relationship, there are things that should still be noted.

Bella said, "If I had known, I wouldn’t have insisted you come to pick me, then you wouldn’t have had to run around with me, and could have rested at the company sooner."

"That’s different." Damian hugged her and said softly, "I only have the excuse to be lazy when you’re here."

"Oh, so I’m your excuse to slack off, you bad guy." Bella, feeling sorry for him working so hard, deliberately joked to cheer him up.

Damian chuckled, "I said I want to accompany my wife, even if the world falls apart, it has to wait."

"Really?" Bella listened, her heart filled with delight, and an uncontrollable smile appeared on her face.

"Yes." Damian nodded with a smile, "I’ve already ordered the dress; it’ll be delivered for fitting tomorrow. Tonight, we’ll stay here with Aunt Sienna, and go back to the apartment tomorrow?"

"Okay."

She really wanted to stay and accompany Aunt Sienna. Though she hadn’t said it, he sensed it and thoughtfully made arrangements.

Bella felt very touched. She didn’t want to be apart from Damian, but also didn’t want Aunt Sienna to be left alone caring for Ethan.

Work obligations are unavoidable, but outside of work, she was willing to spend as much time as possible with the elderly.

After all, Aunt Sienna is already old, and who knows when she might lose her for good.

Bella wrapped her arms around Damian’s neck, burying her face in his neck, and murmured, "Damian, you’re so good."

"That’s a different matter. Who told you to make me so mad and then want me to comfort you instead?" Bella pouted, "You have no idea, finding out you blocked my number almost broke my heart. I cried all night, and the next day’s shoot was nearly delayed because my eyes were swollen and red."
